Availability : Immediate

Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the Agrochemicals Business Unit Manager will be required to propose sales and development strategies and implement those adopted, propose alliances with partners, customers or suppliers of raw materials and strategic services, and manage those selected.

You will also be required to draw up marketing plans and objectives and report on progress, manage a profile center and develop new products, while keeping a close watch on the competition and administrative matters.

EXTERNAL RELATIONS

You will interact with a wide range of customers and service providers, including:

  • Customers;
  • Suppliers of raw materials, packaging and any other services having an impact on the company’s variable costs;
  • Carriers;
  • Advertising agencies, publishers of advertising media, printers and suppliers of advertising media or articles;
  • Trade associations;
  • The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (in particular the Industrial Production Department and the Foreign Trade Department);
  • The Statistics Department of the Foreign Exchange Office.

MISSIONS

  • Periodic visits to key accounts ;
  • Guidance of sales visits ;
  • Quantitative and qualitative monitoring of sales trends and variable costs, by product and by customer ;
  • Elaboration of sales budget and periodic comparison of achievements ;
  • Periodic reporting to the General Manager on sales and customer accounts ;
  • Feedback to the GM on any contacts or visits that may be of current or future interest to the company ;
  • Receive customer complaints and follow up their processing ;
  • Anticipate customer risks and inform the General Manager of any disputed receivables ;
  • Prospecting for new customers and bidding on tenders ;
  • Preparation of supply offers to customers, on the DG’s advice;
  • Prospecting for new suppliers of raw materials and trading products ;
  • Negotiation of contracts for the supply of raw materials, packaging, logistics and all services with a significant impact on variable costs ;
  • Negotiation of technical specifications with customers and suppliers, in consultation with technical departments ;
  • Monitoring import statistics and customs protection ;
  • Contribution to supply and manufacturing schedules ;
  • Giving prior approval for all credit notes and trade discounts ;
  • Supervision of customer delivery planning ;
  • Supervision of invoicing and signature of invoices at the customer’s request ;
  • Supervision of purchasing and storage of trading products ;
  • Preparation of market and profitability studies ;
  • Supervision of advertising and, more generally, of the company’s external communications ;
  • Monitoring of collections and number of customer days ;
  • Setting sales prices and payment terms, subject to approval by General Management ;

PROFILE

  • Degree in Agricultural Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the same or similar position
